About this file
This is a Priority List exhibit for the City of Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation Department's Median Landscape & Hardscape Maintenance Program in California. The document serves as Exhibit C and establishes the priority ranking of service level locations within the City of Santa Cruz for the median maintenance program spanning approximately 13 miles of landscaped and hardscaped street medians and roundabouts. The maintenance scope includes weed control, litter and debris removal, mulch application, pruning and trimming, irrigation observation and minor adjustments, hardscape cleaning, seasonal planting and replacements, traffic control, record-keeping, and integrated pest management (IPM) reporting. All work must comply with California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) standards, UC Statewide Integrated Pest Management Guidelines, California Department of Pesticide Regulation requirements, Cal/OSHA safety regulations, and California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD) standards.
The priority list document identifies which service locations should be addressed in order of precedence, enabling the contractor to systematically schedule maintenance activities across the City's median network. This exhibit enables proposers to understand the geographic scope and prioritization scheme that will guide implementation of the program, ensuring that high-priority medians receive service attention first while the contractor develops efficiencies across the full maintenance territory. The prioritized approach allows for scalable service delivery and clear performance expectations based on location-specific needs and traffic impact considerations.
