About this file
This is a sample task order document for the City of Portland Water Bureau's Professional Land Surveying Services contract in Oregon. The task order outlines a surveying project that includes field work, data collection, and deliverables related to land surveying services. The document serves as a template to demonstrate the structure and requirements for individual task orders that may be issued under the master contract. Task orders issued under this contract will specify project scopes, timelines, deliverable requirements, and site-specific conditions as needed for each individual assignment. The sample task order format establishes the framework for how the Water Bureau will task individual survey firms with specific assignments throughout the contract period.
The sample task order template includes provisions for defining project-specific costs, labor rates, and expenses as they relate to individual assignments issued under the master contract. The document does not establish fixed pricing but rather demonstrates how pricing will be structured on a task order-by-task order basis, allowing the Water Bureau flexibility in budgeting for various surveying projects as operational needs arise. This approach allows the city to maintain a qualified surveying services contract while paying only for work as it is assigned and completed.
