About this file
This document is an Request for Information (RFI) Exhibit B containing 12 detailed questions for potential contractors regarding e-recording and non-e-recording lien release recording services for USDA Rural Development Single Family Housing Program. The RFI seeks to gather comprehensive information from potential service providers about their capabilities to perform nationwide lien release recording services across all 50 states and U.S. territories. Key areas of inquiry include business identification, GSA contract holdings, service capabilities, geographic coverage, commercial service experience, NAICS codes, and pricing models.
The RFI includes a specific definition of rural areas, which encompasses locations with populations up to 35,000 that meet certain rural character and mortgage credit criteria. Potential respondents are asked to provide details about their business size, socio-economic status, certification, existing GSA contracts, ability to perform listed tasks, and geographic limitations in recording services. The document emphasizes that this is an information-gathering exercise only, does not constitute a formal solicitation, and will not result in immediate contract award, with all response costs borne by the interested parties.
