About this file
This document is a Price Proposal for a Statewide Asbestos Consultant Services contract solicited by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 2. The contract will provide asbestos inspection, survey, reporting, and abatement planning services for FDOT parcels across multiple counties, including Columbia County and Lakeland City. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder based on the Grand Total in Table One, which includes unit pricing for key services such as asbestos inspection, sampling, reporting, and parcel-specific abatement plans. Bids are due by 2:00 PM local time on May 23, 2023, with a public bid opening scheduled for 2:30 PM the same day.
The Price Proposal document outlines the pricing structure, with two tables provided. Table One requires bidders to submit unit prices for specific asbestos-related services, while Table Two lists other required services with pre-established rates. Bidders must submit pricing for all items in Table One to be considered responsive. The unit prices in Table One are to cover the contractor's overhead, administrative costs, expenses, operating margin, travel, and subcontractor costs. The contract will have an unspecified term, with the possibility of renewal options.

EXHIBIT “B” – Price Proposal
DISTRICT-WIDE ASBESTOS CONSULTANT SERVICES
The Bid Blank is divided into two tables. The first table identifies services for which we are seeking bid amounts. The second table identifies other needed services for which we have established the amount the Department is willing to pay.
If your firm is willing to provide services at the established rates in the second table, you may bid for services identified in the first table. A unit price must be submitted for each item (price/unit and total) in Table One to be considered responsive. The total is the “weight” multiplied by the “price/unit.” The contract will be awarded to the low bidder based on the Grand Total from Table One. The unit price for each item shall include but not be limited to: overhead, general and administrative costs, incidental expenses, operating margin, travel expenses and subcontractor costs.
