Summary of Exhibit B-1 Rate Sheet for Fire Suppression System Services
This is a rate sheet exhibit for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Master Agreement C5612706-D, Rebid 6, which establishes hourly service rates and pricing for fire suppression system services to be provided at CDCR facilities, specifically including Deuel Vocational Institution (DVI). The services encompassed by this agreement include preventative maintenance, fire sprinkler and standpipe services, fire pump services, five-year fire sprinkler and standpipe testing and certification, fire hydrant flow testing, roll-down door services, repair services, project management, and hydrostatic testing. For DVI, the state estimates 452 hours of preventative maintenance, 280 hours of fire sprinkler and standpipe services, 25 hours of fire pump services, 90 hours of five-year testing and certification, 130 hours of fire hydrant flow testing, 130 hours of roll-down door services, 200 hours of repair services, 20 hours of project management, and 25 hours of hydrostatic testing, along with a parts allowance of $25,000. The rate sheet serves as the basis for bid evaluation and award, with the contract term extending across the entire agreement period.
Bidders must complete all highlighted cells in the Excel version of the rate sheet and provide hourly rates for each service category, with blank cells potentially resulting in bid rejection. All hourly rates must meet the California Department of Industrial Relations' prevailing wage determination requirements. The state estimates the 25 percent of total service rates as an allowance for additional as-needed, unforeseeable services payable at the applicable service rates. Emergency and overtime services requested by CDCR will be compensated at 150 percent of the hourly service rate. Contractors may offer a discount on invoices paid within thirty days of receipt, with a minimum discount of one percent and $50.00, which will be considered in tie-bid scenarios. All pricing must be submitted in U.S. currency and include all labor, personnel, transportation, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, permits, licenses, taxes, fees, and shipping charges necessary to provide the identified services.
