About this file
This is a Rate Sheet (Exhibit B-1) for bid C5613670-D, Statewide Safety Training Services, issued by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) for the Correctional Construction Mentorship Program. The contract encompasses safety training services to be provided on an as-needed basis at multiple CDCR institutions throughout California. The scope includes three primary categories: Course List for all Facilities (22 courses including equipment operator certifications such as aerial boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts, along with safety certifications in fall protection, Cal/OSHA standards, confined space entry, hazardous materials, and scaffolding); Professional Services Statewide (19 specialized trainer certifications and recertifications through IVES programs, asbestos-related courses, lead renovation and repair training, and professional hourly consultation services); and Travel Costs for each of 31 CDCR facilities statewide, with per-visit travel rates ranging from $15 to $70 depending on facility location. Bidders are required to submit pricing for all items, and any item left blank or marked at $0.00 will be grounds for bid rejection, with $0.00 amounts interpreted as services provided at no cost to the State.
Pricing must include all fees, taxes, equipment, materials, supplies, permits, licenses, insurance, per diem, and other expenses necessary to perform the training services. Bidders may offer a discount of at least one percent with a minimum of $50.00 on invoices to be paid within thirty days of receipt; in the event of a tie between bids, the proposal with the highest discount shall prevail. The Rate Sheet is provided in both PDF and Excel formats to assist bidders in computing accurate bid totals. Quantities listed represent CDCR's estimates only for comparison purposes, and the State reserves the right to omit portions of work as deemed necessary or advisable. No set-asides, incumbent information, or specific contract term and renewal details are specified in this rate sheet document.
