About this file

This document contains a technical acceptability questionnaire and details of a related federal contract opportunity for trash and recycling services. The technical acceptability questionnaire outlines 13 requirements the contractor must agree to in order to be eligible for the opportunity, such as ensuring all transportation vehicles are properly equipped and marked, maintaining proper logs and records of waste shipment, and providing appropriate training, protective equipment and immunizations for employees.

The related federal contract opportunity is a request for proposal from the Department of Veterans Affairs set aside for service-disabled veteran owned small businesses to provide trash removal, recycling and composting services at two Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System campuses. Bids are due by June 29, 2020 and the contract would have a one year base period and four one-year options. Interested contractors must provide company and point of contact information, SAM registration or ORCA evidence of business size and service-disabled veteran-owned status, and a capability statement not exceeding five pages demonstrating experience providing similar services.
