Requirements The contractor shall produce the items in Table 1 of this Statement of Work SOW and in delivery orders issued by the Government in accordance with Documents listed above and this SOW. In the event of a conflict between the requirements of this SOW and any drawings for the item on contract, the requirements of this SOW shall govern.
3.0.1 Surge Requirement
a. During the course of performance of the requirements identified in this SOW, it is possible that the anticipated effort could potentially expand by as much as 30% depending on Army’s plans to review and implement an increase of support initiative. This 30% within scope “surge” could require the anticipated level of effort to be potentially increased by as much as 30% of the anticipated, on-going support hours, and OPTEMPO. Offerors are requested to utilize the 30% surge figure as a baseline in developing proposed pricing for this task, to ensure an adequate level of support is maintained. The current TEMPO can be modified to become more flexible and agile enough to provide world class support as the Army’s missions evolve. Due to the complexity of the current environment and missions, support requires agility and diversity to support evolving missions.
b. The Offeror shall propose the prices for the Standard Delivery Schedule and Surge Delivery Schedules (Accelerated Delivery Schedule and Increased Quantity with Acceleration Delivery Schedule) as specified in the solicitation.
c. The contractor shall maintain its surge capability to produce and deliver the surge quantity identified in solicitation/contract. The Government reserves the right to exercise either the Standard Delivery Schedule or Surge Delivery Schedules in any Delivery Orders.
