About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a construction project at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory's MC-2 building to install an additional oxygen deprivation hazard (ODH) exhaust fan and associated duct system. The project supports the ongoing installation of the Mu2e experiment and addresses new experimental safety requirements. The subcontractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, and supervision necessary to complete the work, including transportation, safety oversight, and quality control.

The project is structured with four specific milestones: Milestone 0 (Notice to Proceed) at 0 calendar days, Milestone 1 (material submittals) at 45 calendar days, Milestone 2 (completion of punch-list items and cooling water piping installation) at 75 calendar days, and Milestone 3 (project completion) at 105 calendar days. All personnel must provide Real ID, obtain Fermilab badging, and comply with COVID-19 requirements. The work will be performed at the MC-2 Building, with the subcontractor required to submit shop drawings and equipment layouts for Fermilab's review prior to beginning construction.
