Exhibit A .pdf

Exhibit A is a visual documentation file prepared by the Hawaii District Land Office in support of a buffer zone and tree removal project along Hou Street in Puna, Hawaii. The project involves creating a 188-foot by 50-foot buffer zone along the boundary between State Lands (TMK: (3) 1-5-009:009) and private property at 15-2673 Hou Street (TMK: (3) 1-5-079:014), as well as removing a tree that has fallen from the state lands onto the adjacent private property. The exhibit contains multiple photographs and a site map depicting the buffer zone area, the fence along the proposed buffer zone boundary, the fallen tree that extends over the fence, and other trees within the buffer zone area. The visual documentation clearly shows the physical conditions on the ground, including the location of the tree fall and the relationship between the state and private properties.

The exhibit serves as supporting documentation for the bidding process and provides contractors with a clear visual reference of the work site conditions and the scope of improvements required. The photographic evidence in the exhibit establishes the baseline conditions, including the fence configuration and the exact placement of the fallen tree relative to the property boundary, which will be essential for bidders to develop accurate proposals for the buffer zone construction and tree removal work.
