About this file
Exhibit "A" is a Scope of Work document for Citrus County, Florida, detailing mowing and landscape maintenance services for four county library locations. The contract requires a landscaping contractor to provide comprehensive grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, mulching, and clean-up services for the Central Ridge, Coastal Region, Homosassa Public, and Lakes Region Libraries. The annual service includes approximately 30 cuts per year for most locations, with the Lakes Region Library overflow area receiving about 12 cuts annually. Each site ranges from 4.01 to 9.93 acres, and the contractor must complete each site within two days, using specific equipment and maintaining precise mowing heights and edging standards.
The payment terms are structured on a per-cut/per-site basis, with invoices submitted monthly and payment processed within 45 days according to Florida Statute Chapter 218.74. Contractors must provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment, comply with OSHA safety standards, and repair any damage caused during operations. The contract requires detailed reporting, including cut reports emailed after each service cycle, and is subject to inspection by Grounds Maintenance staff. Non-compliance with contract terms can result in payment withholding or contract termination. Specific requirements include using metal blade edging, commercial-grade line trimmers, high-grade Cypress mulch applied twice yearly, and maintaining a clean work site free of debris.
