About this file

This document is a tasks exhibit for Camp Grayling military training operations in Michigan, outlining procedural requirements for units conducting training exercises at the installation. The tasks are organized according to a timeline beginning 270 days before the event (D-270) and continuing through arrival and departure procedures. Key preparatory activities include verification of spectrum permissions with appropriate military and civilian frequency documentation, identification of unit schedulers, registration for RFMSS (Range Facility Management System) accounts, and on-site reconnaissance of support facilities including range control, supply, and logistics operations. Units must schedule facilities in RFMSS for strength, billets, ranges, and training areas; submit reservation numbers to the budget analyst; and prepare range safety memoranda. Prior to arrival at D-90, units must initiate contracts for catered meals and portable latrines, validate maneuver safety distances, confirm ammunition requirements through ASP (ammunition supply point), and secure necessary MOAs and COIs. Additionally, units must confirm lodging requests, schedule use of training equipment through MATES, and arrange range safety briefings.

Upon arrival (D-0), units must check in at Building 545 Range Control to report boots on ground and complete in/out processing procedures, execute billet and Class V ammunition draws, receive range safety briefings, and begin daily reporting of personnel strength by 0900. Throughout the training event, units must report facility utilization upon completion or by 2345 if operations extend past midnight, and immediately report any medical incidents, fires, environmental violations, or range incidents to Range Control. Departure procedures require units to return all Class V ammunition, turn in housing and logistics facilities with completed processing documentation, return items from self-help at DPW, and complete installation clearance paperwork. The document specifies contact information for key personnel including the MTC Scheduler, Budget Analyst, and Housing Logistics, and references multiple supporting documents such as CG PAM 25-8.1 and CG REG 385-63.
