About this file

This is a Tasks exhibit document outlining operational procedures and preparation requirements for training exercises at Camp Grayling, a Michigan National Guard installation. The document provides a comprehensive timeline of activities spanning from initial spectrum verification through post-exercise procedures, organized by days before and after the training event (D-270 through D-0 and departing procedures). Key preparatory tasks include verifying spectrum permissions with military and civilian frequency authorities, establishing RFMSS (Range Facility Management Support System) accounts, conducting on-site reconnaissance of support facilities, scheduling ranges and training areas, and submitting required documentation such as Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) and target request forms. The exercise preparation involves coordination with multiple Camp Grayling departments including the Maintenace Training Center, Budget Analysis office, Ammunition Supply Point, and Directorate of Public Works, with specific contact numbers provided for scheduling and coordination purposes.

The document specifies numerous procedural requirements to be completed at defined intervals before arrival, including initiation of catering and portable latrine contracts, validation of weapons safety zones, confirmation of Class V ammunition availability, and preparation of Range Safety Memoranda and certifications. Upon arrival, units must complete check-in procedures at Building 545 Range Control, execute ammunition and housing draws using standardized checklists, receive Range Safety Briefings, and maintain daily reporting of personnel strength and facility utilization. The document emphasizes immediate reporting requirements for medical incidents, fires, environmental violations, and range incidents, with specific protocols for departing procedures including ammunition turn-in, housing facility release, and completion of installation clearance documentation.
