About this file
This is an Exhibit 2 Schedule of Quantities and Prices for IFB No. DR144532, issued by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA), for the procurement of semi-tractors and bus transport trailers. The IFB requests five semi-tractors with traveling axle type trailers per specification MA-26-01-A and one articulated-bus transport trailer per specification MA-26-01-B. Both items are subject to a delivery requirement not to exceed 300 days from the start of the contract. Bidders must submit firm unit prices and extended prices for each line item, with unit prices multiplied by the estimated quantity to calculate total prices.
Bidders are required to provide pricing on a unit basis for each item, with all costs inclusive of overhead, profit, applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance, and expenses for contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. The schedule specifies that California Sales Tax at 9.75% and a California Tire Fee of $1.75 per tire must be added to the subtotal. Freight costs for both items must be separately itemized. LACMTA clarifies that estimated quantities are for bid evaluation purposes only and do not represent actual quantities to be used. Any blank unit prices may render a bid non-responsive unless the unit price can be calculated by dividing the total price by the estimated quantity. Bidders must complete contact information, signature, and submission date fields on the schedule.

SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES INSTRUCTIONS
The Bidder shall submit its firm unit prices and lump sum prices for the Services set forth in the Bid and described in the IFB on each of the following form(s) entitled SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES.
The estimated quantities shown on each of the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES are based on the best information available at the time the IFB was issued and are used for the purpose of evaluating the Bids. LACMTA does not represent, expressly or by implication, that the actual quantities used in performing the Services will equal the estimated quantities.
In the case of items for which a fixed dollar amount predetermined by LACMTA has already been entered on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES, the dollar amount entered shall be binding on all Bidders as the price for such item; said dollar amount shall not be revised unless LACMTA directs a Change in the Services affecting the item to which said dollar amount relates.
Unit prices, lump sum prices, and other values must be entered in the appropriate spaces provided in each of the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES. Unit prices must be multiplied by the estimated quantity shown and the total inserted in the "Total Price" column. The "Total Prices" must be added together in arriving at the "Total Bid Price". The Total Bid Price shall be for the completion and acceptance of all Services listed in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES as required by the Contract.
The unit prices and lump sum prices must conform to their respective requirements and parameters as specified in each of the Scope of Services / Technical Requirements. They also must be inclusive of all costs for the Services specified in other Contract Documents, including the proportional costs for overhead, profit, all applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance and other expenses of the Contractor, Subcontractors, and Suppliers of all tiers.
Should any unit price be left blank, the Bid will be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., unit price can be determined by dividing the total price by the estimated quantity).
