Forced Entry/Ventilation Trainer Evaluation Criteria

Competency

Provide proof of completion of projects of this magnitude

Floor Plan

Detailed drawing of the proposed trainer to include but not limited to;

Electrical work to include power extension.

Electrical panel

Grounding

Light switches

Light locations

Electrical Outlets

HVAC system

Stairway

Windows, all exterior windows will be weatherproof

Doors (include swing), all exterior doors will be weatherproof

Floor cut in areas

Wall breach area

Window breach

Door breach

Ductwork for smoke machines

Floor pass troughs

Safety railings/kick plates

Narrative

Narrative shall include but not be limited to;

Type of construction

Wall coverings

Floor coverings

Electrical including type of light fixtures, outlets, electrical panel, how power will be extended to the structure.

Doors, including hardware and type of seals

Windows including hardware and type of seals

Structure anchoring solution.

Stairway type and length of run

Applicable NFPA Codes

NFPA 70 – National Electrical Codes

NFPA 1001 Life Safety
