About this file

This document is a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan outlining performance requirements for janitorial services at the Escalante Visitor Center under solicitation number 140L5723Q0055 issued by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Utah Region. Key requirements include daily cleaning of visitor areas, staff offices, restrooms, and grounds with standards for surfaces to be free of dirt, dust, debris and spills. Performance is monitored through periodic visual inspections with allowances for up to three unacceptable findings per area per month. Semi-annual deep cleaning includes carpet shampooing, floor stripping and regrouting. The plan establishes acceptance criteria and remedies for cleaning services to help ensure a clean and sanitary facility.
