About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division on behalf of the Maintenance and Construction Department of the Health and Specialty Care System (HSCS) division, for Project 24-206-AMH, a 75-Bed New State Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. The project includes preconstruction services, design, construction, and procurement and installation of furniture, furnishings, and equipment. The proposed building will be approximately 85,000 square feet and include patient rooms, specialized support space, administration space, diagnostic and treatment space, and support services. The design and construction are expected to have an aggressive timeline, with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) delivered at the end of the design development package or 50% Construction Documents. Mandatory pre-submittal webinars are scheduled for February 5 and 6, 2024, and electronic submission of the solicitation response is prohibited.
The cost of work for the project is estimated at $90,000,000, not including pre-construction management fees, construction management fees, and construction general conditions. The project will be located in Potter County and the City of Amarillo, Texas.
