The amendment provides responses to 57 questions submitted by potential bidders, including details on the scope of work, contract term, incumbent provider, historical collection volumes and fees paid, and the procurement process.
The RFP indicates that the existing contract will expire in the second quarter of 2024, and the City intends to award one or more new contracts as a result of this solicitation. Accounts will be referred to the selected vendor(s) on an ongoing basis, with no set volume or value specified. The current incumbent, Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, has provided these services since 2003. The City does not have detailed reporting on the incumbent's historical collection performance or fees charged, but paid approximately $60,000 in 2023.
