About this file

This document is an Addendum to a solicitation issued by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division for Armed and Unarmed Security Guard Services for Region 3. The solicitation seeks bids from qualified security guard companies to provide on-site uniformed armed and unarmed plain-clothed security guards and dedicated patrol services at HHSC facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex on an as-needed basis. The solicitation has a response due date of January 8, 2024 at 10:30 AM Central Time. The anticipated contract start date is the date of award.

The addendum clarifies and modifies the schedule requirements for two of the specified locations. The 2700 Ben Ave, Fort Worth location is no longer a 24/7 requirement, with coverage now Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The 8700 North Stemmons, Dallas location also has reduced coverage, with Monday through Friday hours from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM only. The addendum also adds a new location at 2220 Mall Circle, Fort Worth with Monday through Friday coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Pricing is required for both armed and unarmed security guards, as there may be requests for unarmed guards for special circumstances.
