About this file
This document is an Addendum to an Open Enrollment for Out-of-State Adoption Services issued by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) on behalf of the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). The Open Enrollment is seeking qualified applicants to enter into contracts for providing adoption services for children in DFPS conservatorship who cannot return to their families. The Addendum makes changes to the requirements, including updating the point of contact, revising home screening and adoption competency training requirements, and deleting sections related to the Non-DFPS Adoptive Home Registration Form 2238.
The Open Enrollment covers a statewide opportunity in Texas, with specific jurisdictions mentioned including Travis County and the City of Austin. The contract term and any renewal options are not explicitly stated. Pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, and other financial details are also not provided in this Addendum document.
