About this file

This document is Section 2 of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the University of Texas at Austin for fire and life safety code inspections and related testing services. The RFQ requires respondents to submit comprehensive Statements of Qualifications addressing seven evaluation criteria totaling 100 maximum points. Respondents must provide general company information including legal name, business address, years in operation, type of entity, ten-year revenue history, and financial stability documentation. The qualifications submission must include statements of interest and availability, a complete list of services the respondent can provide directly or through subcontractors, and detailed descriptions of relevant experience. Respondents must identify any services listed in the Scope of Services they are unwilling or unable to provide.

The evaluation criteria emphasize demonstrated experience with third-party independent code inspections and testing, requiring respondents to list up to five similar projects prioritized by relevance, with detailed project information including delivery method, contractor contact information, construction costs, square footage, specific code inspections performed, and deliverables. Respondents must provide resumes and professional certifications for all proposed team members and subcontractors, including their experience with similar projects over the past ten years. References from three completed projects are required, along with comprehensive descriptions of the respondent's quality assurance programs, documentation and record-keeping procedures, inspection coordination methods, emergency response capabilities, and approach to resolving administrative challenges. Key personnel must commit to the duration of the initial contract term and all renewal periods, with any substitutions requiring owner approval.
