About this file
This is a Project Overview and Scope of Work document for the LSCS Montgomery-University Center Roof Replacement, a state and local contract opportunity in Texas. The project requires complete roof replacement and associated renovation work at the Montgomery Campus University Center. The scope includes removal of the existing roofing system down to the lightweight insulating concrete deck, repair of the existing roof deck as required, installation of a new modified bitumen roofing system, replacement and modification of roofing components including flashings, coping, wall panels, and counter flashings, and all work necessary to provide a complete, watertight roofing assembly. Additional work includes demolition and substrate preparation, removal and reinstallation of the lightning protection system, removal of abandoned penetrations, installation of polyisocyanurate insulation and cover board, utility and equipment modifications to raise or lower items as necessary to achieve minimum 8-inch flashing heights, installation of walk pads at designated high-traffic areas, and final cleanup.
The contract deliverables require the contractor to provide manufacturer and contractor warranties upon project completion. The document does not specify pricing terms, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, contract terms, set asides, incumbent information, or funding sources and amounts. All labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for project completion must be provided by the contractor, with work coordinated to minimize disruption to rooftop utilities, piping, and equipment.
