The RFQ seeks one replacement motor compatible with the existing Flowserve Model 25ENL-1 vertical turbine pump, with specifications including a TECO-Westinghouse motor or approved equal, 447VP frame, TEFC enclosure, 460V/3-phase/60Hz operation, 1200 RPM synchronous speed, minimum 94.5% efficiency, counter-clockwise rotation, and a non-reverse ratchet. The project scope includes furnishing and delivering the motor, verifying compatibility with existing equipment, providing field service support for installation and start-up, delivering comprehensive documentation, and coordinating scheduling with WTCPUA Operations. Quotes are due September 2, 2026 by 12:00 PM, with public bid opening scheduled for the same day at 1:30 PM. A site visit is strongly recommended prior to quote submission to verify field conditions, delivery constraints, and equipment compatibility.

Vendors must submit itemized quotes clearly separating costs for the replacement motor and pump delivery, freight and handling charges, field service for installation and commissioning, and any additional charges such as uninstallation of existing equipment. The quote must include total price, payment terms, lead time estimates, earliest available field service date, warranty information, and any proposed substitutions or deviations from specifications. Warranty coverage shall be 12 months from start-up, not to exceed 18 months from delivery, covering defects in materials, workmanship, design, and operational failure. Vendors must demonstrate experience supplying motors for vertical turbine pumps in municipal water or wastewater utility applications and shall coordinate all field service activities with WTCPUA Operations. Sealed bid packages should be submitted to Leonel Cruz, Operations Manager, at 13215 Bee Cave Parkway, Building B, Suite 110, Bee Cave, Texas 78738.
