About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to Bid 26-30, a construction solicitation issued by the City of Huntsville, Texas, for Multi-Site NRCS EWP Funded Repairs. The project encompasses multiple sites requiring vegetation removal, rock/rip-rap relocation, pipe installation, concrete headwall construction, select fill placement, and stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) compliance. Bidders were required to attend a mandatory site visit on August 11, 2026, to be eligible for consideration. The bid closing date is August 25, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Central Standard Time, with full project completion required by October 30, 2026. Prospective bidders must submit the entire 41-page contract document package and acknowledge receipt of this addendum with an authorized signature on the form provided. Email submissions are not permitted.
Key modifications clarified in this addendum address project specifications and submission requirements. Project completion is fixed at October 30, 2026, superseding the original 90-day liquidated damages clause. Payment is processed within 30 days of receipt of a complete and proper invoice submitted to accountspayable@huntsvilletx.gov, with vendors required to include a current W-9 form to facilitate processing. Proof of active SAM.gov registration is required as part of the proposal package. Bidders are responsible for calculating quantities of materials such as rip-rap and select fill based on area measurements provided in project documentation and included estimates. The contractor must follow SWPPP best management practices and all applicable federal, state, and local stormwater requirements throughout the project duration. Questions should be directed to Lucy Gonzalez, Procurement Manager, at purchasing@huntsvilletx.gov or (936) 291-5495.
