About this file
This is an exhibit from a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) solicitation that provides vendor information and guidance for submitting responses through the DPS Online Bid Room for the Irving Fire Extinguisher Maintenance Services contract opportunity. The document outlines the submission process and available resources for interested vendors, though it does not contain specific details regarding project scope, quantities, response deadlines, site visits, or bidder conferences.
Vendors may submit solicitation responses either through the optional DPS Online Bid Room system or through alternative submission methods identified in the solicitation package. To participate, vendors must complete a two-step registration process: first registering at the DPS Online Bid Room portal to receive login credentials within two business days, then using those credentials to access and submit their response electronically. The document emphasizes that vendors must allow sufficient time for registration prior to the response deadline, as late submissions will not be accepted, and that technical difficulties with the online system do not constitute grounds for protest of a contract award. Vendors are directed to review the complete solicitation package and contact the identified point of contact with questions, and multiple resources are provided including a vendor tutorial, user guide, frequently asked questions, and technical support contact information.
