About this file
This file is a vendor information guide for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Online Bid Room submission process. The document outlines procedures for vendors interested in submitting responses to DPS solicitations electronically through the Optional DPS Online Bid Room platform or through alternative submission methods specified in individual solicitation packages. Vendors must register as users to access the system by visiting the DPS Online Bid Room registration portal, with credential delivery occurring within two business days. The document emphasizes that vendors must carefully review complete solicitation packages, including all exhibits, and submit responses by the specified due date and time in the exact form and manner required by each solicitation. Late submissions are not accepted, and failure to adhere to solicitation requirements may result in bid disqualification.
The document provides vendors with access to multiple resources including the Online Bid Room Vendor Tutorial, Vendor User Guide, Frequently Asked Questions, and vendor support contact information to facilitate successful bid submissions. Importantly, the document clarifies that technical difficulties experienced through the DPS Online Bid Room do not constitute grounds for protest of contract awards and that electronic submissions received through the system automatically generate submission confirmation with no additional receipt confirmation required. Vendors are advised to allocate sufficient time for the registration process prior to response deadlines to ensure timely submission of their bids.
