About this file

This is a hardware specifications document for the Miovision Core DCM traffic management system and related components being procured by the State of Texas. The document details the technical specifications for two primary hardware components: the Miovision Core DCM, a full-stack intelligent transportation systems (ITS) solution designed to manage and analyze intersections, and the Miovision SmartView 360 camera system. The Core DCM unit serves as the central processing hub with quad-core ARM A57 processors, NVIDIA GPU acceleration, and support for up to six cameras, while the SmartView 360 provides 4K 12-megapixel 360-degree video capture with a 180-degree field of view. The system supports detection capabilities including turning movement counts, occupancy ratios, and 90-day rolling count data for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles, with optional advance detection functionality available through the SmartView Approach sensor.

The Core DCM hardware features industrial-grade components including 240GB solid state drive storage (expandable to 960GB), NEMA TS-2 compliance, IP67-rated enclosure, and multiple connectivity options including Ethernet ports with power-over-Ethernet capability, LTE cellular connectivity, GPS/GLONASS positioning, and SDLC communication ports. The system operates across temperature ranges of -30°F to 165°F with 5-95% humidity tolerance and includes comprehensive security features with Trusted Platform Module (TPM) certification and AES-128 encryption. The SmartView 360 camera operates on standard Power-over-Ethernet with 12.95W consumption, features IP66 and NEMA 4X compliance, electronic lens heating to prevent ice/frost buildup, and shock/vibration resistance rated for commercial-grade outdoor installations. Both components are UL/cUL certified and FCC compliant, with support for local Ethernet configuration and remote management capabilities to minimize on-site installation disruption.
