About this file

This addendum to Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 304T-26-520A1 is issued by the Texas Statewide Procurement Division and addresses a clarification question regarding the processing equipment for shoe sole pellets containing thermoplastic rubber (TPR) compound. The addendum confirms that the TPR compound will be processed on rotary (round-table) shoe soling machines rather than horizontal injection molding machines. This clarification is significant because recommended formulations and processing parameters can vary depending on machine type, though all eight specified physical properties must be met regardless of the equipment used.

Respondents are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and returning it with their bid response. The addendum explicitly states that failure to submit the signed addendum may result in disqualification of the response. The document is issued by Contract Specialist Madison Guevara of the Connecticut Technical Community College (CTCD), CTCM, and becomes an integral part of the referenced IFB and resulting contract.
