About this file

This is a sealed bid package for the West Travis County Public Utility Agency (WTCPUA) requesting supply, installation, and commissioning of five diesel-powered generator systems for lift station operations. The project includes two stationary 125 kW generator units for permanent installation at Lift Station #3 and Lift Station #7, and three mobile 125 kW rental-style generators for deployment across multiple remote lift station sites. All units must be powered by Cummins QSB5-G6 NR3 diesel engines operating at 1800 RPM with varying voltage configurations (480/277 VAC 3-Phase, 208/120 VAC 3-Phase, and 240/120 VAC). Sealed bids are due July 9, 2026 by 12:00 P.M., with public opening scheduled for July 9, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at 13215 Bee Cave Parkway, Building B, Suite 110, Bee Cave, Texas 78738. The scope of work encompasses equipment supply, delivery, rigging, placement, startup, commissioning, and testing.

All generator units must include Cummins PCC1.1 controls with human-machine interface, heavy-duty alternators with corrosive-resistant insulation, lead-acid batteries, block heaters, battery float chargers, and shore power connectors. The specification of the Cummins QSB5-G6 NR3 engine as a single-source requirement effectively restricts bidding to authorized Cummins dealers or integrators capable of sourcing and installing this specific model. No contract value, contract term, set-asides, preferences, or award timeline are stated in the available bid package materials. Interested parties should direct inquiries to Leonel Cruz (Operations Manager), Charles Malone (Electromechanical Supervisor), or David Holden (Wastewater Supervisor).
