About this file
This document is a vendor information exhibit from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) regarding the use of the DPS Online Bid Room for submitting solicitation responses. The exhibit outlines the optional electronic submission process available to vendors participating in DPS contract opportunities. Vendors may choose to submit responses through the DPS Online Bid Room or utilize any other method specified in the solicitation package. All submissions must comply with the form and delivery requirements detailed in the solicitation package, and responses must be received by the specified due date and time. The document emphasizes that failure to adhere to solicitation requirements may result in disqualification of a response.
The DPS Online Bid Room access requires a two-step registration process, with vendors needing to register at the designated portal and allowing up to two business days to receive login credentials. Vendors are instructed to allow adequate time for registration to ensure timely bid submission, as late submissions are not accepted. The document clarifies that technical difficulties experienced through the optional online submission platform do not constitute grounds for protesting a contract award. Submissions made through the DPS Online Bid Room receive automatic submission confirmation through the system, eliminating the need for separate receipt confirmation. Additional resources, including vendor tutorials, user guides, frequently asked questions, and customer support contact information, are available to assist vendors in navigating the platform and completing submissions.
