About this file

This is a Cost Proposal Form (Attachment C) for RFP 809-26-0002 issued by the State of Texas for the Robert E. Johnson (REJ) Balcony Handrail Refurbishment project. The scope of work requires respondents to disassemble the existing railing system while salvaging and reusing stainless-steel components including brackets, handrails, and top rail. Additional work includes removing and disposing of existing steel tube posts, fabricating and installing new stainless-steel brackets and steel tube posts, replacing all fasteners (screws, bolts, washers, and nuts), and removing and replacing sealant in the cast-stone concrete coping. The project also requires repair of cracks and spalls within the coping. Respondents must provide a firm-fixed price, lump-sum bid that encompasses all materials, labor, equipment, and services necessary for project completion.

Pricing must be submitted as a firm-fixed price lump-sum amount valid for 120 days from the bid opening date. The cost proposal should detail pricing for materials and labor separately, though the final bid must be presented as a single lump-sum figure. The amount must be shown in both written and figure form, with the written amount governing in cases of discrepancy. Proposals that do not include this completed and signed Cost Proposal Form will not be considered for award.
