About this file
This document is a mandatory pricing sheet and bidding instructions for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts - Statewide Procurement Division, Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 304T-26-765A1.2 for Road and Highway Equipment, specifically V-Box Spreaders. The solicitation covers two primary spreader sizes: 5.5 cubic yard and 9.5 cubic yard V-Box Hopper Type spreaders with conveyor and self-contained capabilities. Bidders are required to complete multiple sections of the workbook, including pricing for base units and optional accessories across 25 different Texas highway districts. The bid instructions emphasize detailed compliance, with warnings that failure to follow instructions or provide complete pricing may result in bid disqualification.
The pricing sheet allows bidders to submit pricing for base units and multiple optional accessories, including electric spray systems, hydraulic spray systems, different drive systems, lighting, spinner disc materials, and leg stands. Bidders must indicate delivery days, manufacturer details, model numbers, and part numbers for each option. The document provides extensive flexibility by allowing bidders to specify pricing for specific highway districts and stand-alone equipment. Notably, respondents must complete an additional Attachment F - Spreader, Material, V-Box Hopper Type with Conveyor, Self Contained Data Sheet alongside this mandatory price sheet, and negative values are permitted for options replacing more expensive items.
