About this file
This document is a vendor information guide for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Online Bid Room, detailing the electronic solicitation submission process. Vendors can submit responses electronically through the DPS Online Bid Room or other methods specified in the solicitation package, with use of the online platform being optional. The process requires careful review of the entire solicitation package and adherence to specific submission guidelines, with an emphasis on meeting all requirements to avoid disqualification.
The registration process for the DPS Online Bid Room involves two steps: first, vendors must register at a provided website, which can take up to two business days to receive login credentials, and second, access the system to review opportunities and submit electronic responses. Vendors are advised to allow sufficient time for registration to ensure timely bid submission, as late responses are not accepted. The document also clarifies that technical difficulties with the online submission do not constitute grounds for protesting a contract award, and electronic submissions will receive automatic confirmation through the system.
