Integral Care, a community-based behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities services organization located in Travis County, Texas, is procuring food delivery services for up to 28 individuals at their facility in Austin. The successful proposer will deliver all food items necessary for Integral Care staff to prepare and serve three meals and two snacks daily from preset menus, with no requirement to provide onsite staffing or hot meal delivery. Menus will accommodate various dietary restrictions including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, and religious food abstentions. The successful proposer must also ensure coffee and tea supplies are available 24/7 for staff preparation. The contract term is three years beginning approximately December 1, 2025, with two optional one-year renewal periods.
The memorandum clarifies that Integral Care staff will prepare and serve all meals onsite using ingredients delivered by the successful proposer, which may include pre-cooked items, raw items, or both. The facility utilizes both reusable serving trays and utensils as well as disposable items. No external revenue sources exist outside meal services, and no current equipment from the existing food service management contractor will be transferred. Integral Care maintains onsite kitchen access for its staff, and the successful proposer will not require access to this facility. The procurement is open to various qualified vendors, with Integral Care expressing commitment to making good faith efforts to contract with Historically Underutilized Businesses, and the organization reserves the right to enter into multiple contracts for food service provision.
