About this file

This document is Attachment F - Evaluation Criteria for RFP No. 304T-26-715M2, a Request for Proposal by the Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CPA) for Publications, Audiovisual Materials, Books, Textbooks, and Ancillary Services. The RFP outlines comprehensive evaluation criteria for potential respondents across three key areas: Ordering Process/Order History (20 points), Financial Performance (20 points), and Customer Assistance (20 points). Respondents are required to submit proposals of no more than 25 one-sided pages addressing specific detailed requirements such as online ordering capabilities, searching functionalities, publication availability descriptions, sales documentation, customer service processes, and collection development support.

The evaluation criteria emphasize the respondent's technological capabilities, financial stability, and customer service approach. Specific areas of focus include demonstrating sales to public entities, providing proof of financial solvency, offering real-time inventory tracking, enabling complex search functionalities across multiple bibliographic categories, supporting collection development, and providing notification systems for new titles and automated purchases. The document requires respondents to provide comprehensive documentation about their operational scope, including number of employees, customer base relative to Texas's size, years in business, and their ability to meet the state's specific purchasing requirements.
