About this file
This document details comprehensive specifications for Multi-Gas Detectors, outlining precise technical requirements for a sophisticated sensing device capable of measuring multiple gas types and environmental conditions. The specifications cover an extensive range of sensor capabilities, including Photoionization Detector (PID), lower explosive limit (LEL), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Oxygen (O2), and Gamma radiation detection. Key device features include field-replaceable sensors, a rechargeable Li-ion battery with approximately 18-hour runtime, a built-in pump with 250 cubic centimeter average flow rate, and operational functionality from -4°F to 122°F.
The multi-gas detector is designed with advanced technological capabilities, featuring a liquid crystal display with backlighting, continuous datalogging for up to 6 months, wireless transmission capabilities using 900 megahertz frequency, and compatibility with RAE systems' Dedicated Wireless Network. Additional notable specifications include an IP 65/67 dust and water resistance rating, a minimum one-year warranty, and compliance with MIL-STD-810F Department of Defense testing standards and International Society of Automation performance requirements. The device offers comprehensive gas concentration monitoring with real-time readings, short-term exposure limit tracking, and a wireless range of 656 feet, making it suitable for industrial, scientific, and safety-critical environmental monitoring applications.
