About this file
This document is Attachment A, a detailed specification for a Hydrogen Sulfide Analyzer, which appears to be part of a state or local government procurement opportunity. The specification outlines comprehensive technical requirements for a portable analyzer capable of detecting hydrogen sulfide in concentrations ranging from 3 parts per billion (ppb) to 10 parts per million (ppm), with high-precision measurement capabilities. The analyzer must have a resolution of 20 parts per trillion (ppt), offer multiple measurement modes (survey, manual, auto), provide onboard data logging for 20,000 samples, include a liquid crystal display screen, and feature digital and analog output options.
The analyzer specification includes additional critical requirements such as a lightweight design (not exceeding 5.4 pounds), a rechargeable battery with an 18-hour life that charges in 3 hours, and a hard carrying case for transport. The device must provide multiple data output methods, including USB connectivity to computers, printers, or flash drives, and an analog 4-20 milliamp current loop output. The specification also mandates a one-year warranty for parts and labor, and requires vendors to detail the cost of any additional accessories needed for equipment operation. These precise technical requirements suggest a specialized scientific or environmental monitoring procurement, likely for a government agency or research institution involved in environmental testing or industrial safety.
