About this file
This document is a Janitorial Statement of Work (SOW) issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety for the Riviera Area Office located at 6336 South Highway 77 in Riviera, Texas. The SOW outlines comprehensive janitorial service requirements for a facility with 2,905 square feet, specifying daily, monthly, and semi-annual cleaning tasks including general cleaning, restroom maintenance, floor care, and pandemic-related sanitization protocols. The contract requires the contractor to provide all cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, ensure employee background checks, maintain proper access procedures, and complete detailed service reports after each cleaning.
The document includes specific sanitization requirements during pandemic periods, with hourly and daily cleaning checklists covering areas such as elevator controls, entry doors, drinking fountains, restroom fixtures, break room surfaces, and public areas. The payment structure involves prorated calculations based on actual days of service performed, with the Texas Department of Public Safety providing certain consumable supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, and trash liners. The contractor must follow strict protocols including meeting with a contract monitor, maintaining a locked janitor's closet, reporting facility maintenance issues, and submitting monthly service reports to the Region 2 Facilities management team.

Prorated payments must be calculated as follows:
a) Divide the maximum monthly payment by the total number of days that service was to be provided within the invoiced month, given the daily service cost for the month.
