About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for RFP #25-073 issued by Alvin Community College (ACC) on March 11, 2025, for Machining Lab Equipment. The addendum addresses three key questions from potential bidders regarding the procurement. Specifically, the addendum clarifies that tooling requirements depend on machine models, confirms vendors can submit alternate brand options as additional bids, and establishes that the procurement intent is "Furnish, Set-in-Place and Install" with associated pricing opportunities.
The addendum provides supplemental clarification to the original Request for Proposal, indicating that ACC is seeking comprehensive machining laboratory equipment. By allowing alternate brand submissions and specifying installation expectations, the college demonstrates flexibility in vendor selection while maintaining clear procurement parameters. The addendum reinforces the college's commitment to obtaining precise equipment specifications and ensuring vendors understand the full scope of the equipment deployment requirements.
