About this file
This addendum document from Texas Southern University (TSU) addresses questions and answers for ITB #717-25-712 regarding Flight Training Devices. The clarifications indicate that the previously specified "hard shell" requirement is not mandatory, and TSU will consider all options presented. The university specified that school branding should be placed on the monitors, and confirmed a requirement for standard warranty plus annual support contract warranty. The delivery timeline was addressed, with TSU confirming a May 4th deadline for simulator delivery.
The document requires acknowledgment through signature, indicating bidders' receipt and understanding of the addendum contents. No pricing details, set-asides, or funding information were included in this addendum. The question and answer format suggests this is a clarifying document to assist vendors in preparing compliant bids for the flight training simulators procurement.

Questions & Answers
ITB # 717-25-712 Flight Training Devices
Question 1: By “hard shell” do you mean you want a full enclosed cockpit replicating the aircraft? Or are you referring to the console itself only?
Answer 1: This request not required. Texas Southern University will consider all options presented.
Question 2: If “hard shell” is not referring to a full cockpit, do you have a preference on the location of school branding? For example, the seat, frame, or console?
Answer 2: School branding should go on the monitors.
Question 3: 3. Do you need any ongoing support after the standard warranty period?
Answer 3: Yes, Standard warranty plus annual support contract warranty.
Question 4: As we finalize our proposal, we would like to kindly seek clarification on the delivery timeline requirements to ensure full compliance with TSU’s expectations. To align our logistics planning with TSU’s needs, could you please confirm:
Is the 14-calendar-day delivery window strictly enforced, or is there flexibility for extended timelines under certain circumstances? If flexibility exists, what is the maximum allowable delivery period that
TSU would accept without disqualifying the bid?
Answer 4: Our timeline is May 4th for delivery of the simulation.
