About this file
This is Addendum #2 to Solicitation #405-25R0005416 issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Procurement and Contract Services for the Williamson County Tactical Training Facility Electrical Upgrades project. The addendum, effective February 12, 2025, provides answers to contractor questions received prior to the February 10, 2025, 5:00 PM CT deadline. The document maintains all original terms and conditions of the solicitation, with no extension to the offer submission deadline.
The addendum clarifies five key technical points: 1) contractors are responsible for old fixture/bulb disposal per Section 11.0 Material Management, 2) multiple buildings may be worked on simultaneously if training is not disrupted, 3) PEC's responsibility for Building P ends at the transformer pole, 4) fan amp specifications are maximum values with lower amps being acceptable, and 5) the Urban Driving track lighting has no known voltage over 600v under DPS responsibility, with higher voltages managed by the power company. The document requires acknowledgment by offerors through one of three methods: returning three signed copies, acknowledging receipt on offer copies, or sending a reference letter/email.
