About this file

This is an addendum (#002) issued by Texas A&M Forest Service's Purchasing Department for IFB-25-014 regarding the Hudson Shop Doors project. The addendum provides questions and answers related to the project, which involves the installation of eight white 14'x14' commercial roll-up doors at 155 Texas Forest Service Loop in Lufkin, TX. Key clarifications include confirmation that no specific manufacturer was used as the basis of design, the presence of hazardous materials (diesel fuel, gasoline, and motor oil) in the work area, and the headroom above door openings averaging 23" from the top of the door frame to the top of the eve purlin.

The addendum confirms the umbrella insurance requirement of $5,000,000 and notes that bidders must return signed and dated copies of the addendum either with their IFB submittal or by fax to 979-458-7387. Photos of existing openings are provided in IFB-25-014 attachment B, and it was clarified that there are no security systems connected to the doors being replaced. Failure to submit a signed and dated addendum may result in bid disqualification.
