About this file

This is Addendum #1 to RFP 302-25-C-02171 issued by the Texas Office of the Attorney General (OAG) for Online Printing and Mailing Services. The addendum provides answers to 22 vendor questions about the project, which involves processing approximately 40,000 individual mailings during the first contract term, with potential daily mailings. Documents will be provided as print-ready PDF files in black and white format, requiring duplex printing on standard paper. The OAG will provide prepaid return envelopes initially but is open to vendor options for generating these. The pilot project will be used to gather statistical data on various aspects including envelope usage, average page counts, and return envelope requirements.

The addendum clarifies that all vendor costs must be included in the Unit Pricing of Form B, and no special security training or certifications are required since contractor agents will not have access to OAG systems. The OAG will provide their official seal after contract award, and vendors should propose envelope types based on requirements in Section 6.1.3.1. The OAG anticipates daily demand rather than bulk mailings, and vendors may either self-assess or engage third-party assessors for required assessments. The Certificate of Destruction form should be completed at the time of destruction rather than in advance.
