About this file
This is Addendum #2 for IFB Bid No. 25-03 from the City of Huntsville, Texas for a sewer rehabilitation project between Normal Park Drive and Paul Knox Street. The addendum provides detailed pricing tables for sewer line rehabilitation work covering 755 linear feet across six manhole-to-manhole segments (ranging from 10 to 245 feet each). The project includes replacement of three manholes (3286, 3296, and 3299), with alternate bid options for manhole realignment that include abandoning Manhole 3286 and realigning Manhole 3284 with 3290, or replacing Manholes 3284 and 3286 with a single manhole. The bid closing date is December 12, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. Central Time.
The pricing structure includes base unit prices for pipe burst methods and alternate unit prices for open cut methods, along with lump sum pricing for CCTV inspection, connection restoration, site restoration, and bypass setup/monitoring. The addendum clarifies that cast-in-place house manholes are allowed, no casing is required under portable buildings, and there is an 8-10 foot easement off each side of the road within City properties (shown in purple on the attached map). Any clearing required on private property must be coordinated with property owners. The document includes a Q&A section addressing four specific contractor questions and requires bidders to acknowledge receipt by signing and submitting the addendum with their bid packet.
