This Addendum shall form part of the RFP Documents and modifies them as follows:

Due to the physical constraints of the project location and proximity of adjacent buildings and pedestrian thoroughfares, and in the interest of minimizing disruptions to ongoing campus activities, operations and class schedules, the following requirements and clarifications are to be acknowledged by respondents as pursuant to the requirements listed in section 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4 of the Owner’s Special Conditions:

1) All movement of equipment, deliveries or any other vehicular traffic through intracampus areas (outside confines of project site) shall be accompanied by personnel on foot providing spotting and pedestrian traffic control. This applies to all times of day, as well as holidays and weekends.

2) With regards to utilizing intracampus walkways, fire lanes and drives for movement of equipment and materials to and from the jobsite, respondents should plan for early morning (before 8:00AM) deliveries, concrete pours, etc. Movement of equipment and materials through campus at other times throughout the work week are to be avoided unless otherwise coordinated with UTT project management personnel.

3) While after-hours and/or weekend work may be appropriate or necessary for some project activities, specific dates and times shall be coordinated in advance with UTT project management personnel to avoid conflicts with planned campus activities or events.
