About this file
This document is an addendum to RFP 735-2024-4393 Bulk Copy Paper, a contract opportunity issued by the state of Texas. The addendum provides responses to submitted questions, including that there is no incumbent contractor, and that only the specified products in Section 6.2 of the RFP will be accepted. It clarifies details around payee identification numbers, acknowledging addenda, and delivery requirements. The contract opportunity is for the state of Texas and Van Zandt County.
The RFP does not provide historical pricing information, as there is no incumbent contractor. Respondents are not allowed to quote alternative brands, and must acknowledge any posted addenda prior to submitting their response. Delivery will be to a location without a dock, but with access to a forklift and pallet jacks. The sample contract provided is for illustrative purposes only and is not to be filled out and submitted with the response.

ADDENDUM ONE (1)
RE: RFP 735‐2024‐4393 Bulk Copy Paper Bid
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
Please see the response provided to the submitted questions below:
Is there currently an incumbent contractor for this contract? If so, could you please provide the historical price per box or load? There is not an incumbent contractor.
I do not carry any of these brands. Could we quote another brand? We are only accepting responses for what is noted in Section 6.2 (Specifications) of the RFP.
On page 21, where would I find our Payee Identification Number (PIN)? Payee Number Requirements:
State payees include vendors who contract with a state agency to provide goods or services and individual recipients. In almost all cases, payees are required to provide one of these nine‐digit identification numbers to obtain a TIN:
Federal employer identification number (EIN)
Social Security Number (SSN)
Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
On page 25, can you please clarify where Addenda No.1 – No.5 are that I’m being asked to acknowledge? Before submitting your response, vendors must review the bid posting site to ensure there aren’t any posted addenda. If an addendum is posted, please acknowledge it by noting it on the
Addenda Checklist that is to be returned with your response. Please note: It is the respondent’s responsibility to check for posted addenda.
Does your receiving dock require any special services – lift‐gate, driver assistance, or pallet breakdown for inside delivery? A dock is not available. A forklift and pallet jacks are available. See Section 6.2 for additional information regarding receiving.
One of the attached documents in the RFP was the Products and Services Agreement packet with a
“sample” watermark on each page (please see attached). Is this packet, with the “sample” watermark, to be filled out and submitted with our response? No. The sample contract is provided to illustrate the type of contract to be executed between the University and the winning respondent. This will be processed after an award is made.
Please note: The date for submitting questions has passed. No additional questions will receive a response.
Please remember to acknowledge this addendum on the Addenda Checklist.
Regards, Joseph J. Mrugalski Purchasing/Contract Management
