About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 to Invitation for Bids (IFB) No. 3670-JW issued by the Texas General Land Office (GLO) and the Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) for land clearing services at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas. The addendum provides responses to questions submitted by bidders regarding the scope of work, which involves clearing approximately 2,100 feet of brush and damaged trees, up to 25 feet wide, along the south side of West Side Ramp Road. Bidders are required to remove all brush, branches, and downed trees, with stumps to be ground down below grade. The deadline for bid submission is September 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. CT.
The addendum clarifies that there are no other areas to be cleared at this time beyond the 2,100 feet specified, and that mulching the debris on-site is not permitted, as all materials must be removed by the vendor. Pricing terms, set-asides, or funding details are not provided in the addendum, as it primarily focuses on addressing bidder questions and clarifying the scope of work.
