About this file

This document is an amendment to a bid solicitation (IW193286) issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for the procurement of pharmaceuticals for resale in TDCJ commissaries statewide. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the bid due date to September 13, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. and to provide responses to questions received from bidders. The questions cover topics such as delivery methods, incumbent supplier information, current pricing, and the need for samples. TDCJ has indicated that delivery by common carrier is acceptable, samples are required for non-preferred brands, and other brands may be submitted as long as they meet the specifications.

The original solicitation is for a blanket purchase order for pharmaceuticals. TDCJ is requesting bids for this statewide procurement. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this amendment, and the bid may not be considered if the amendment is not acknowledged.
