About this file
This document is an addendum to a solicitation issued by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) for roof replacements to residences at Lake Bob Sandlin State Park. The project involves removing existing composition shingle roofs and installing new metal panel roofs, including demolition, carpentry, painting, and metal panel roofing. The Architects' Probable Opinion of Cost ranges from $125,000 to $190,000, and the project must be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The addendum provides clarification on the Pre-Bid meeting, the process for submitting color options, the required plywood thickness, and confirmation that there is only one layer of existing shingles. The addendum also adds a unit pricing item for 5/8" plywood roof decking.
The contract opportunity is open to all qualified bidders. Interested parties must submit their bids through the eBuilder Bid Portal, and questions should be directed to the TPWD Contract Manager, Misty Wyatt, through the Q&A board in the Bid Portal. The bid due date is September 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q1: Is a prebid meeting sign in sheet available?
A2: The Pre-bid meeting was virtual and not mandatory, so there is not a sign-in sheet.

A2: Color options must be sent to the architect during the Submittals process. The TPWD Construction Manager will explain the procedures for sending in all the Submittals.
