About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Texas A&M University System for the Maestro Refresh Project. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide staff augmentation services for a like-for-like software refresh of the Maestro system, which is an enterprise-wide system that supports researchers and research administrators across the A&M System. The RFP requires actual resumes and prohibits the use of sample resumes, and it specifies the roles and qualifications needed, including experience with Angular, Spring Boot, Jenkins, Git, Java, user design, and agile methodologies. The RFP has a due date of September 10, 2024 and an expected contract start date of October 1, 2024.

Regarding pricing, the RFP states that the annual budget for the contract will not be provided, but details on the scope and staff augmentation requirements are given to show the level of effort needed. The RFP allows for references from ongoing projects and commercial clients, as well as the demonstration of experience providing similar services to commercial agencies. Subcontracting to meet the qualifications is not permitted, but the RFP does allow for the replacement of up to 25% of proposed personnel under certain circumstances. The RFP also requires the completion of a HUB Subcontracting Plan, regardless of the respondent's location.
